To drive traffic to your Company.com business profile, we recommend the following:

Invite people to connect and follow your business.

The more people that follow your business the more viral your posts and deals will become.

On your professional profile, the “Invite Your Contacts” link gives you the ability to send invitations so that people can connect with you personally.

To encourage people to follow your business, you can place a “Follow Us on Company.com” button on your site.  Click on the Get Started tab on your business profile, you will find a link to “Add a Follow Button to Your Web Site” this page will provide the graphics and links.

Let the wall tell your story
Prospects are going to see your wall as a window into your products and how you treat your clients.  The best things to appear on your wall include:
1. Customer quote recommending your services
2. Latest news (not sales collateral) about your company or its products – such as reviews from third parties, new feature announcements, or case studies.
3. An enticing deal with real value – aim higher than “free consultation”
4. Meaningful content or best practices that would apply to anyone using your type of offering.  Example:  “Best ways to lower your operating expense”

Participate
The easiest and most cost-effective way to drive people to your business profile is to participate in the network
1. Follow other companies, if you want people to find you, find other people.  Follow other businesses, if you use their products, give them a review
2. Ask/Answer Questions - Ask the questions that prospects should ask you, make sure you phrase them in a way that is meaningful and doesn’t sound like a marketing pitch. When providing an answer use the tone of a “trusted advisor”.
3. Form Partnerships – Even if you start small, find a vendor who serves the same market as you, agree to a cross promotion – it can be a deal, white paper, or press release and send to your followers.
