S L, I always read to the bottom of the text message and most I remember seem to have a "Text STOP to quit receiving these messages" or something similar at the end of the text. So I just sent a text reply that says "STOP"or whatever their instructions are for opting out. If you want to read further about this and get really proactive about getting rid of these unwanted messages here are a couple of links I found helpful
