Hello Kevin, It is a good idea to find a partner that compliment your products and services where you both may benefit mutually. The answers below are good too, that would be my plan B. Now the second part of your question is what would make it productive? That depends on you and your partner, mostly you. Will you work as hard at the partnership as you were willing as a sole owner and your partner is willing to do the same, (example) if I were a plumber I would look for a contractor that did kitchens and baths to partner with. Together we should work very hard on promoting our kitchen and baths because the more kitchen and bath jobs we get would automatically get me the plumbing work. The answer to your final question is not a simple one to say the least. This reason is why most business owners don't have partners. I would suggest that you seek someone that shares your common interest regarding business and business matters. Someone that is not only fair but dependable and will handle money matters fairly and honestly, this is why some partnership ends up in court, jail or in the grave yard. I just say be careful when seeking a partner.

Hi Kevin. We target billing software companies that provide billing solutions to Utilities, Municipalities, Practice Management (accounting, medical, dental, etc.) and Property Manageement. We integrate with the software to get bills uploaded to Invoice Cloud and provide payment info back to the accounting software. It is very difficult for us to get a software partner's attention without having one of their customers tell them they want to use Invoice Cloud. B

Hi Kevin, I look at your question from two angles, one, our partners or vendors that we get product or services from. These partners are either from past experience or form customer recommendations or from research we have done for products or services that fit into our portfolio and skill set. From the second perspective in our reseller channel we look for Microsoft Dynamics – CRM resellers because we have an incredible add-on research tool for finding business contact from the Internet that runs within CRM. We also look for other partners that help companies improve their sales and marketing process. And last but not least, we look for partners that need assistance with helping companies acquire, install, configure, customize, integrate or rollout CRM solutions. We really don’t target any specific Industry but I would say that we tend to have a larger number of customers in manufacturing and software because of our background.
