Seems like the recession has made the corporate hiring process a more cold and impersonal experience. While it may no longer be realistic to receive a communication from a company or recruiter after you've submitted a resume for a job, I'm hearing of numerous situations where people who've been on an interview or scheduled for an interview never hear from the executive recruiter or company HR manager again. Are there just so many people looking for certain jobs that companies don't really care anymore about closing the loop on the hiring process? Have others heard of or had similar negative experiences?
