Why couldn't I just use PayPal? Will I lose credibility as a legitimate business if I don't directly accept major credit cards through my site? Is it just part of "the cost of doing business?"

Pay Pal is a good company however they have charge fees that are much higher than a company like ours would charge. They typically charge a business 3-4% per transaction whereas we charge only 1.5-1.6 5 per transaction.
